'WAY OUT EAST!' - STEREO SKATEBOARDS VIDEO, 16MM, 2004

Chris Pastras had the idea to do a traveling art show with some Stereo team skateboarders and artist friends - NYC, London, Paris - and to document it and release a film. Stereo had been on hiatus for a couple years and was revived in 2003. The traveling art show and film release were in a way intended as a means for reintroducing Stereo to skateboarding. Filmmaker Eric Noren documented everything with his Bolex 16mm camera and the film was put together by myself, Eric and Chris, and contains footage from the art shows, skateboarding, graphics from Chris and Matt Irving, and features music from Midlake's 'Bamnan and Slivercork.'
