Commissioned by Tulsa’s Philbrook Museum of Art, OK is a collection of photographs made throughout Oklahoma between June and November 2018 using 35mm, 120, and 4x5 color and black-and-white films.
On view June-December 2019, OK: Jason Lee Photographs featured an extensive selection of prints from the collection, occupying the Meinig and Burnstein Galleries in the museum’s former satellite location, Philbrook Downtown (now Bob Dylan Center). A selection of Larry Clark’s original Tulsa prints were concurrently presented in the adjacent Smith Gallery.
Additionally, each month from May 2019 through February 2020, the museum offered a special limited-edition signed and numbered 8.5x11 print. Click HERE for availability.
OK/BW (Black-and-White) and OK/CL (Color) will be published in 2026 and 2028, respectively, and represent the seventh and eighth solo books of photographs from an ongoing documentation of America that began in California in 2006.
